Our Story

Fairwood Church began in 1971 with a small group of people meeting in Meeker Junior High. Saint Stephen's Catholic Church helped our young church pay the mortgage for the first year, which enabled us to move into our current location and build a building. Since that time we have continued to grow, add on, and remodel our church campus.

Today, Fairwood provides ministry to all ages, including kids, youth, young adults, young married couples, men, women, and seniors. We have a thriving Christian preschool and host several community events each year.

Fairwood has been instrumental in planting two churches: The City Church in Orlando, Florida and EPIC Church in Covington, Washington. Fairwood has also played a key role in establishing the Seattle Men's Teen Challenge, housed just blocks from the church.
