From the time I was a young man, I knew that one day I would pastor in the Seattle area.
I grew up in Renton, just a few miles from Fairwood. I am confident that God had a plan -
long before I knew anything about it.
Shari and I have served together in ministry in the northwest for 16 years now.
On October 21, 2007, we were invited to become the senior pastors of Fairwood Church.
This was clearly our destiny; the realization of a lifelong dream.
I am completely hooked on church. I love the church - I believe it is the hope of the world.
I believe the church should be a life-giving, faith-building, community-creating center of activity in our city.
I love genuine, heart-felt worship. I love being generous. I love it when church is exciting:
when it makes me laugh and when it makes me cry. I want church to be fresh,
new, exciting, relevant, honest, excellent and creative.
Fairwood is a wonderful church home; we felt the sense of family the first time we came.
Without hesitation, I am convinced that Fairwood will bless your life, cause you to grow,
improve your relationships and provide you with a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.
